Hampton Court is a stunning quilt pattern that includes 4 sizes - Throw, Twin, Queen, and King.  This quilt has two piecing methods included - strip piecing and traditional piecing.  With strip piecing, you will not be sewing individual bricks together, and this makes for much faster quilt top assembly.

The Hampton Court design is based on King Henry VIII's castle from the 1500s.  The design, made from varying brick sizes, can be found in the brickwork on the exterior of the castle.

This listing is for the PDF DOWNLOAD (see instructions below).  The Printed version of Hampton Court is available right here.

My first ever quilt

I have never made a quilt and I decided, for some reason, that it would be a good idea to make a king size quilt for my first try. I did this in 5 sections so I could quilt them on my regular machine and then I stitched them together. With both of these factors, I made a lot of mistakes. But, I love how it turned out and it was easy to figure out how to make the quilt top with the instructions provided. I had to look up some tutorials for binding and quilting.

Look forward to creating the quilt.
