Today I'm sharing a Hampton Court quilted Table Runner! This one is made with Garden Delights, a super sweet itty bitty floral collection in a rainbow of colors.
This quilt was made with leftover strip sets from a previous quilt.
Garden Delights Fabric
My local quilt shop has a collection of Garden Delights fabrics, so this is the perfect quilt to hang in their shop. This fabric collection by In the Beginning is entirely small ditty florals that are oh-so-sweet! I love this collection and hoarded it for the perfect project.
You can see the Throw size Hampton Court in Garden Delights right over here.
Hampton Court Quilt Design
The Hampton Court quilt design is based on King Henry VIII's castle from the 1500s. The design, made from varying brick sizes, can be found in the brickwork on the exterior of the castle.
This pattern is strip pieced, and you won't be sewing together individual bricks, unless you want to (the pattern includes both strip piecing and traditional piecing instructions). Strip piecing saves so much time, and this pattern is the perfect place to use it.
Hampton Court Quilt Pattern
The quilt pattern includes four sizes - Throw, Twin, Queen, and King. The Table Runner size is not included in the pattern.
This is a strip-pieced quilt pattern for a quick finish. No sewing together individual bricks!
Instructions include both fat quarters and yardage so you can easily use your stash.
This Hampton Court Table Runner is quilted with Woven Winds, a modern digital quilting design, in white thread on my HandiQuilter Fusion with ProStitcher. I quilted four Table Runners on the same day, all on the same piece of backing, one after the other. What a timesaver! ♥
