Rosie the Riveter was an iconic World War II heroine.  She gave up nail polish to work in the factories and shipyards making war supplies.  She replaced the mail workers who joined the military and became a symbol of strength, courage and determination during difficult and tumultuous times.  Her slogan was "You Can Do It".
